General Guidelines

1. Eligibility

1.  Eligible to only college students of age 18 – 26.

2. There is no restriction on the field of study.

3. Only one entry per participant in each category.

4. Participants must provide valid proof of enrollment in the form of a college ID card or any other relevant document.


2. Registration

1. Registration can be done only online individually or through the designated college coordinators.

 2. Registration for Category C events are only allowed through college coordinators

3. Registration Fee - Rs 50/- per individual for each event.

4. Registration fees once remitted will be non-refundable.

5. Registrations will be closed on October 31, 2023.

6. Late entries and spot entries will not be entertained.


3. Disqualification

1. The decision of the organizing committee or judging panel regarding disqualification is final and binding, cannot be challenged or appealed.

2. Participants will be disqualified if they fail to meet any of the eligibility criteria, violate the rules.

3. Any form of cheating, plagiarism, or use of unfair means will lead to immediate disqualification.

4. Disqualified participants may be asked to return any prizes or awards received.


4. Code of Conduct

1. Participants must maintain decorum and must behave in a respectful and sportsman like manner towards fellow participants, organizers, judges, and the audience.

2. Any form of discrimination, harassment, bullying, or disruptive behaviour will result in immediate disqualification.

3. Individuals are advised to wear a decent outfit.

 

5. Timing and Punctuality

1. Participants should be present at the designated venue at the specified time.

2. Latecomers may be disqualified from participating, as per the discretion of the organizing committee.

 

6. Copyrights and Intellectual Property

1. Participants retain the copyright and ownership of their work/presentation. 

2. By participating in the competition, participants grant the organizers non-exclusive royalty-free license to publish, reproduce, distribute or display their work/ presentation for any purpose that may be deemed fit.

 

7. Awards and Prizes

1. Winners will be awarded with shields and certificates based on the decision of the judges.

2. Participation certificates will be awarded to all the finalists.

3. The judging panel's decision will be final and binding, cannot be challenged or appealed.

4. The college may publicize the names of the winners for recognition and promotion purposes.


8. Use of Electronic Devices

Participants are not allowed to use any electronic devices, including smartphones, tablets, or laptops during the competition unless explicitly allowed by the organizers.

 

9. Photography and Videography

1.  Photography and videography during the competition is not allowed.

2. Unauthorized recording or distribution of performances is strictly prohibited.

 

10. Safety and Liability

1. Participants are responsible for their own safety during the performance.

2. The organizers will not be responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to participants, instruments or property during the competition.

3. Teams must ensure that their performances do not pose a threat to the safety of other participants, judges, or the audience.

 

11. Organizers’ Rights

1. The organizers may document, photograph, or record the event and also explicitly have participant’s consent to use their images/videos for promotional purposes.

2. The organizers reserve the right to amend or modify the rules, schedule, any aspect of the competition at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. Participants will be duly notified of any changes.

3. The organizers reserve the right to cancel the competition in case of unforeseen circumstances or for any valid reason. In such cases, participants will be notified accordingly.

 

In case of any controversy on a matter not mentioned in the above regulations, the Organizers will decide on appropriate action. The Organizers’ decision shall be final and binding.
